Updating the Zoom App

Note: the Zoom Chrome app on Chromebooks updates automatically, and the iOS app updates automatically as well unless you have manual updates turned on.

1 Click Spotlight

2 Type zoom.us

3 Double click zoom.us

Step 3 image

4 Open Zoom Click zoom.us

5 Click Check for Updates...

6 Click Update

Step 6 image

7 Click Install

Step 7 image

8 Click Continue

9 Click Continue

Step 9 image

10 Click Install

Step 10 image

Step 11 image

12 Use touch-ID or enter your password to authenticate, and installation should begin

13 Click Close

Step 13 image

14 Zoom should automatically reopen. Note the updated version. You're all set!

1 Double click Zoom to launch the Zoom app

2 Click the icon on the top right with your initials or your photo

3 Click Check for Updates

4 Click Update

5 The update will begin (it may seems as though it skips this step if it goes quickly)
