Multiple Google Users on a Shared Device
Sharing a device?
Navigate to accounts.google.com/accountchooser and choose your child's account.
Looking for a more permanent way of keeping the accounts separate? Follow these steps:
Chrome Browser on a Mac or PC
- Open Chrome
- Click the profile icon on the top right (either an image or a letter)
- Click "Add"
- Type in the user's name
- Click "Already a Chrome user? Sign in"
- Sign in
- Click "Link Data"
- Click "Yes, I'm in"
Once you've added additional users, you can switch between them by clicking on the profile icon on the top right:

iOS (iPad/iPhone)
Multiple accounts in Safari:
- Open Safari
- Navigate to accounts.google.com/accountchooser
- Choose the account you'd like to use
Multiple accounts in Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides (adapted from here):
- Open the Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides app.
- In the top left, tap Menu
.
- Tap your email address.
- Choose the account you want to use.
